History

Northfield Elementary located on West Northfield Boulevard in Murfreesboro opened in 1987 and serves approximately 700 students in pre-k through sixth grade. Northfield, home of the Knights, has an outstanding heritage and reputation for dedicated teachers, effective instruction and parent engagement.  

Northfield promotes a positive school and learning environment and has achieved the gold level status for Response To Intervention from Vanderbilt University.  

From Lego Robotics and Drone Clubs to STEAM and family movie nights, Northfield’s school traditions run deep with a sense of community made strong by parent and community partnerships.
