The MCS School Board has once again been recognized with the prestigious Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA) Board of Distinction Award for its exceptional work in the areas of planning, policy, promotion, and board development.

MCS invites parents and families to participate in upcoming Parent University classes designed to help families support student success at home and at school. Parent University offers interactive sessions led by educators and community experts on topics that impact student learning, well-being, and development.
The workshops provide practical tools and resources for families while strengthening the partnership between home and school. September topics include:
- Mobile Device Safety - Thursday, Sept. 10, noon, zoom
- Helping Your High Achieving Child Thrive - Monday, September 21, noon, zoom
- Your IEP Toolbox: Tools for Advocacy - Wed., Sept 16, 5:30-6:30 in person at MCS Central Office
